Therapy for Anxiety

For my entire therapy career, I’ve specialized in helping adults navigating anxiety + stress.

Do you think things over and over but you’re still stuck?
Are you feeling behind, lost, or unsure what comes next?
Are things “not clicking” despite your best overthinking?

Anxiety can make it feel like you’re missing a clear path, question who you are, what you want and what’s the right path.

Social comparisons, family expectations, and perfectionism can make others feel anxious, disconnected, or not good enough. When those expectations are also cultural or generational, I offer culturally attuned therapy for the Jewish community.

Clients Come to Me For:

Overthinking

Avoiding hard decisions

Perfectionism paralysis

Negative self talk

Low self worth

Relationship stress

Feeling unmotivated

Physically on edge

Most of my clients are between 23 and 40

How Therapy with Me Works

Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and practical. We explore where your anxiety comes from, but we also focus on helping you take action in your real life. I’m not a silent therapist; I offer direct feedback, thoughtful questions, and clear perspective when it can help move the work forward.

You’ll better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. We’ll identify what keeps you stuck and build the skills to move forward, even when it feels uncomfortable.

Modalities I Use

Psychodynamic Therapy

Helps you understand how early experiences and family dynamics shape your self-doubt, perfectionism, and relationship patterns today.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT

Teaches you to recognize anxious thought loops and shift them so they do not control your choices.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy DBT Skills

Builds emotion regulation and distress tolerance so you can handle difficult feelings without shutting down or avoiding.

Self-Compassion Therapy

Identifies what you are naturally good at and helps you lean into your strengths so you are not just surviving but actively building a life that fits you.

“You will not be told to just think positive or meditate more. We work step by step, at a pace that feels doable.”

Quiet Down the Anxiety

With the right tools, feel more like you and in control of your direction.

What anxiety actually looks like at this age

Anxiety in your twenties and thirties often does not look like panic. More often it looks like:

  • Decision paralysis — researching every option and choosing none, because choosing means being wrong.
  • Perfectionism as procrastination — not starting because the first attempt will not be good enough.
  • Comparison spirals — measuring an ordinary Tuesday against everyone else’s highlight reel.
  • Career and identity doubt — the sense that everyone else got a map and you did not.
  • Relationship anxiety — over-reading texts, anticipating abandonment, or staying too long because leaving feels like failing.
  • Physical symptoms — a jaw that will not unclench, a stomach that reacts before you consciously worry, sleep that will not come.

How the work goes

We find the loop and interrupt it. That means understanding where the pattern came from — family, early experiences, what you learned to do to stay safe — and then building skills you practise between sessions, not just discuss in them. CBT for the thought loops, DBT skills for the moments when emotion outruns reason, psychodynamic work for the roots, and strengths-based work so you are building a life rather than only managing symptoms.

You will not be told to think positive

No breathing exercise fixes a life that does not fit. We work step by step, at a pace that feels doable, on both the anxiety and the circumstances feeding it.
